X-ray imaging (also known as radiographic imaging) is a non-destructive method used to detect and map embedded materials within concrete slabs and structures. It's often required on sites where ground-penetrating radar (GPR) isn’t suitable—like when you need to scan from both sides of a slab, or when working with dense materials that interfere with GPR signals.
Our X-ray imaging team is fully trained, certified, and equipped to perform this specialized service in airports, government facilities and other secure or sensitive environments where accuracy and compliance are non-negotiable.
When precision is critical and site conditions demand a different approach, our OneScan team is ready to deliver clear, reliable results.
Every scanning specialist on our team is accredited by the ORCGA to ensure we consistently deliver accurate scans. In fact, we've been called in to replace other scanning teams on sites because we've got a reputation for detecting "problems" that others miss.
We invest in the best equipment available because we want to be absolutely certain that our scanning work is flawless. In fact, Ontario Cutting and Coring has one of, if not the largest equipment inventory of all concrete cutting companies in Canada.
I have had the pleasure of working with the team at Ontario Cutting and Coring for close to three decades. Their ability to respond, adapt to project demands, and find solutions to challenges presented on the job site, are what sets them apart from their competitors.
